    Scientists & Inventors Assignment

Requirements:
1) Identify a minimum of 3 female scientists and 3 male scientists.

2) List their birth date and the date they died (if still alive indicate: still living).

3) List one or more important dates excluding the information in requirement #2 above. Identify why this date is important.

4) Identify what country they came from.

5) List awards or recognition they received. example: Nobel Prize, 1st woman to…

6) Identify the area of science the scientist is known for (include a variety of scientists in different areas).

7) Identify the contributions they are recognized for and any other information you find interesting.

8) You must have information in ALL of the areas listed to include the scientist.

Bonus: Locate other Internet sites that discuss famous scientists. E-mail the Internet address to your science teacher (see below).
