Castles
These tiny little castles are from the seventh graders. This
was a
culmination to a six week study of Medieval art including illuminated
manuscripts and tapestries (see other projects). It took us four periods
to
get in all the details on these small gems. After firing, they were dipped
in a wash of gray paint. Some students choose to use more paint to define
stones and grass, some added small purchased figures and some small paper
flags on toothpicks.
