Art Club

Art Club was run in two sessions this year. The first session, before winter break, allowed students to make artistic choices and experiment with their ideas and materials. Students all chose their own projects ranging from drawing, to airbrush or the pottery wheel. The individual freedom was very successful and resulted in many great projects!
The second session of Art Club was a pre-selected project. The students were put in charge of painting the school's trashcans. The students were given a trashcan and a list of possible ideas generated by other teachers and their homeroom classes. The Art Club came up with the final designs and executed great paintings. Our subject matter ranged from "Panther Pride" to math, verbs, and the Revolutionary War. Final Trash Can Project
