Ways to Help Your Gifted Child Reach His/Her Potential
- Read to your child and make sure he/she has access to a wide range of reading materials, such as a variety of books, magazines, and newspapers.
- Factor in free time for your child to daydream, invent, and create what he/she wants.
- Encourage them to follow their passions, even if you don't share them.
- Introduce him/her to other gifted children.
- Expand your child's horizons and introduce them to different people, places and cultures, traditions, and experiences- by traveling, reading, watching educational TV programs, visiting museums, and attending concerts or plays.
